Deflowering More Di Fara Virgins | Slice Pizza Blog
Apparently I haven’t had Di Fara, so I haven’t had real real good pizza. Looks like it’s worth the trek. Thanks Paul.

Di Fara is a must have if you are in NYC. The guy makes every pie himself, cuts the fresh basil off his basil plant right onto your pizza, and imports his own tomatoes and cheese. You can’t beat it, and worth a trip to middle Brooklyn.

Never get involved in a land war in Asia.
Never get involved in a pizza debate in Brooklyn.
Nevertheless, I’ll toss this out: if we stipulate that the phrase “best pizza in Brooklyn” is one that cannot be uttered without starting an entirely valid argument, are the wait and general craziness at Di Fara or Grimaldi’s necessarily balanced out by the quality of the pizza?
I’d go with Saraghina or Roberta’s N times out of N+1. The pizza at either place is at a level to allow for the inevitable “is this pizza better than the pizza at X” argument, and there’s far less of a scene to contend with.
