Oh, hmm.. Perhaps it’s too soon for rejoicing in the splendor that is chicken ‘n’ waffles. Some investigating is called for.. Lord only knows there’s gotta be an awesome spot in Bed-Stuy. Come to think of it, I think a couple years back, before I lived here, I had chicken and waffles done right - they had liquid butter in squirt bottles instead of ketchup. I gotta ask my fellow diners.. someone must remember. Will update with any developing details.
It wasn’t bed-stuy, but you might be thinking of the late, lamented Little House on Clinton Avenue. They did have butter in squeeze bottles to support the pretty decent chicken and waffles, and I passed a number of very happy Sunday mornings there.
