TSA responds to a post from a mommy blogger (My Bottle’s Up) who claims that she was separated from her child during the security process at ATL. TSA even released a video clip from security to rebuke the untruths.
Not easy to beat up on those that have Big Brother-like capabilities. Wonder if BlogHer will support the blogger in the network?
(heads up from @ComcastCares)
Update: now it seems like My Bottle’s Up has removed commenting ability from the blog. Doing that just makes the post look worse.
Fascinating. This is going to be really interesting as it starts happening more. It introduces the glass house problem. The government has access to all sorts of resources like security tapes that other folks don’t. So .gov can go after small guys without fear of being exposed like this, while little guys can’t go after .gov without fear of this kind of response.
David Brin called it.
I think I agree with your larger point, but in this case “little guys going after .gov” appears to have been something more like “making stuff up,” so this might not be the ideal example.
